Alce Nero

Overview

Alce Nero’s story begins in the 1970s, when their founder Gino Girolomo wanted to create a brand that embraced organic farming and creating products that respected the land they came from in Emilia Romagna.

Today, Alce Nero is a socially-responsible cooperative company that represents more than a thousand organic farmers, beekeepers and food processors who have striven both within Italy and abroad to produce delicious, healthy, and nourishing food. Alce Nero has nearly three hundred organic products including; pasta, rice, tomato pulp and sauces, vegetables, puréed soups, among others. Throughout their product line they have committed to producing food that comes from fields that are free of chemicals and pesticides.
