White grape variety: Albana
Albana di Romagna wines are produced in Bologna, Forlì-Cesena and Ravenna, all part of Emilia-Romagna.
Four styles of Albana di Romagna exist: secco, amabile, dolce, and passito (a dessert wine).
The white Albana grapes cultivated in this appellation are sweet and produce dry light bodied wines with medium acidity. The peach and almond notes pair well with fruit or dessert.
