White Grape Variety: Trebbiano
Lugana DOC is an appellation that spans across both the province of Brescia in Lombardy and the province of Verona, in Veneto. The wines of this region are made with Trebbiano grapes, which produce varieties of white wine that are generally dry tasting with a fresh and fruity flavour at the end.
These vineyards are located in the central part of the Po Valley, including Lago di Garda, which provides an open, ventilated area that is a favourable terrain for the grapes to receive considerable sunlight.
It pairs well with appetizers, sweets meats and dishes containing fish, white meat or cooked vegetables.
