Antonio Facchin & Figli

Overview

Located at the foothills of the Dolomites, the vineyard is based in arguably one of Treviso’s most scenic locals.

With a lineage dating back to the mid-19th century, Antonio Facchin e Figli vineyard has played an instrumental role in helping shape the viniculture in the Treviso region. Created by Antonio Facchin in 1870, the vineyard has gone on to encompass over 38 hectares, producing everything from Prosecco DOC Treviso, Pinot Grigio and Merlot. The vineyard has similarly expanded to produce Grappa, showcasing the winery’s diverse production of viniculture.

With many grape varietals laying claim to the area, Antonio Facchin & Figli incorporates age old traditions with a more modern approach to wine making, utilizing innovation and a continued emphasis on research to guarantee a continued level of quality wine production on par with the best the Veneto has to offer. The town of San Polo, replete with history and Roman ruins, serves as the perfect backdrop for a vineyard that prides itself with upholding local tradition and embracing the roots that helped define it.

Being situated in the heart of prosecco country, Antonio Facchin & Figli prides itself in  its high quality spumante. The Prosecco Superiore DOCG, one of the vineyard’s most acclaimed, represents the culmination of dedicated viniculture in conjunction with the region’s Glera grape, a defining factor in the vineyard’s and the Veneto’s success in producing globally acclaimed Prosecco and wines.

Located at the foothills of the Dolomites, the vineyard is based in arguably one of Treviso’s most scenic locals. With a rich alpine ecosystem surrounded by centuries of history, a visit to the Facchin & Figli vineyards provides ample opportunity to witness one of northern Italy’s most beautiful areas while being enveloped by a culture of viniculture and gastronomy.
