Castello di Roncade

Castello di Roncade is a unique pre-Palladian villa surrounded by medieval walls where five hundred years of winemaking tradition still continues to this day.

Characterized by Renaissance architecture, Castello di Roncade is a winery situated in Northern Italy. It is located in the heart of Roncade, a small town in the Veneto countryside between Treviso and Venice. The residence sits on the ruins of a tenth-century castle given to the Collalto Counts by Emperor Otto II and was designed by the renowned Venetian architect Mauro Coducci.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens and medieval walls, the winery offers many activities for guests who wish to learn more about the wine culture of the Venetian region. Their aroma-driven whites and full-bodied reds have distinguished them amongst other regional wine producers. They have been awarded many prizes of recognition over the course of their operation. In fact, the Caranto vineyards in which the grapes are harvested span over 110 hectares of land and the terrain is ideal for producing premium quality wines.

In response to its growing success, the winery decided to expand its operations. With the increase in production, a new state-of-the-art winery was established in Mogliano Veneto near the Roncade vineyards, which now welcomes thousands of wine enthusiasts worldwide.
