Valdo Spumanti


Occupying over 40,000 acres, the vineyard of Valdo Spumanti, based in the Treviso area of the Veneto has become a defining producer in the Prosecco market.

Opened in 1926, the vineyard has benefited from it ideal location in the heart of the prosecco production area. Based in Valdobbiadene, home to some of Italy’s most noted vineyards, Valdo Spumanti has benefited from the eclectic weather, helping to define and to a large extent shape the aromas and flavor of the local grapes.

Under the control of the Bolla family since the 1940’s, the vineyard has seen a large quantity of its Prosecco being designated for export, a direct result of the increasing popularity of the Italian sparkling wine. Some of the vineyard’s most noted wines are its Valdo Cuvee di Boj Prosecco D.O.C.G, one of the company’s best, it utilizes Valle dei Buoi grapes to help give its fruity notes as well as a spicier overtone. It is widely considered one of the best Proseccos from the region.

The Valdo Prosecco Brut D.O.C, a lighter alternative distinguished by its trademark fruity notes acts as a great accompaniment to any pre-meal celebration.

Distinguished by its level of quality, Valdo Spumanti has become world renown for creating some of the world’s best Prosecco. This attention to quality has played a defining role in the vineyard’s history, with over 10,000 hectares comprised of vines dedicated to producing prosecco, Valdo Spumanti has ensure its production from grape to packaging retains the same level of care and attention throughout.
