The beaches of Sardinia are truly paradise on Earth. Strolling along the coast, time seems to stop: the only ticking you’ll hear is the melody of the waves breaking on the shore. Interested in learning about the most charming destinations?
Cala Goloritzé is a dream you’ll never want to wake up from. This beach, considered one of the most beautiful in Sardinia, was formed by a landslide in 1962 and is famous for the pinnacle that looks over the cove, which you can also climb.
Another characteristic is the natural arch on the right side of the cove. In a cleft on the rocks you’ll also find a freshwater source that comes out of this subsoil into the sea.
Rocce Rosse di Arbatax
The evocative Rocce Rosse (“Red Rocks”) are a major attraction of Arbatax, a colourful sea town in the province of Ogliastra. Big cliffs of red porphyry create a scenery of unparalleled beauty, majestically appearing from the clear waters.
During the summer, tourists from all over the world come to see them… will you also be there this year?
Tavolara is an island north-east of Sardinia. It is a majestic range coming out of the sea, with vertical cliffs 500 meters high. The difficult docking has allowed the preservation of the natural ecosystem, giving the island the charm of a wild land with lush flora. Its granite borders form grottos and niches accessible by boat. Are you ready for this adventure?
