4 Madonne Caseificio dell’Emilia

Presentation

Founded in 1967 by a group of local breeders, the Società Cooperativa Agricola 4 Madonne Caseificio dell’Emilia takes its name from a votive pillar dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, located near the headquarters of Lesignana di Modena, in the heart of Emilia. Following mergers over the years, the Cooperative now has 62 contributing members, 5 production dairies located between the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia (both in the plains and in the mountains) and an annual production of about 100,000 wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P.
The location of the contributing members and dairies allows us to produce different biodiversity such as Parmigiano Reggiano Red Cows, Organic Parmigiano Reggiano and Parmigiano Reggiano “Mountain Product”. We also offer traditional Parmigiano Reggiano aged for over 80 months.
