Caseificio Montecoppe

Presentation

The Montecoppi Dairy Farm follows the entire supply chain of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO within the Natural Park of the Boschi di Carrega, a natural oasis a few km from the city of Parma. The location of the contributing members and dairies allows us to produce different biodiversity such as Parmigiano Reggiano Red Cows, Organic Parmigiano Reggiano and Parmigiano Reggiano “Mountain Product”. We also offer traditional Parmigiano Reggiano aged for over 80 months.
The company is the perfect combination of ancient and modern. The historic building, before the Napoleonic era, testifies to the passage of the eras and the various functions that it has undergone before becoming the room that housed the salting tanks. Adjacent to this emerges the new dairy, a masterpiece of modernity and functionality, designed by the international architect Guido Canali. Here in the Carrega Woods we produce Parmigiano Reggiano at km 0, respecting the ancient centenary tradition, animals and the environment.

Production Zone

The company is located in Collecchio, in the province of Parma, within the so-called foodvalley, here in the area of origin it produces Parmigiano Reggiano.

The Montecoppi Dairy Farm follows the entire supply chain of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO within the Natural Park of the Boschi di Carrega.
