Epicurean incursion into the heart of Piedmont

Piedmont denominations such as Barolo DOCG, Barbaresco DOCG, Barbera d’Alba DOC, and Roero DOCG represent the very essence of Piedmont’s winemaking tradition. Each denomination carries centuries of history, culture, and passion for wine. Barolo and Barbaresco, both DOCG, are considered among the world’s most prized wines, with their aromatic complexities and aging potential. Barbera d’Alba DOC, with its fruity and fresh character, is a vibrant interpretation of the Barbera variety, while Roero DOCG, known for its elegance and finesse, celebrates the unique territory of the Roero hills. These denominations reflect the diversity and oenological excellence of Piedmont, contributing to solidify its reputation as one of the world’s most prestigious wine regions.

It’s precisely the Piedmontese wines of these denominations that will take center stage at the Piedmont Expo event dedicated to a targeted audience of wine lovers in Quebec, taking place on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Montreal.

The event, exclusively dedicated to Piedmont, will see the participation of over 450 selected top-spending consumers from Quebec and offer them a unique opportunity to explore the region’s finest wines. A selection of 27 prestigious wineries will be featured at the Expo: Batasiolo, Fontanafredda, Pio Cesare, Castello di Neive, Monchiero Carbone, Poderi Colla, Ratti, Azelia, Borgogno, Pelissero, Vietti, Casa E. di Mirafiore, Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Gresy, Cascina Castlet, Cantina dei Marchesi di Barolo, Marchesi Alfieri, Punset, Chionetti Quinto e Figlio, Conterno Fantino, Elvio Cogno, Mauro Molino, Montalbera, Musso, Tenuta Rocca, Villadoria, Aurelio Settimo, and Prunotto.
