Umbria DOP extra virgin olive oil is obtained from the Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo, San Felice, Rajo and Dolce Agocia olive varieties and is produced within the region of Umbria.

Umbria DOP has been cultivated in the region which has been a popular olive growing region since the Roman times. The oil has a greenish-yellow colour with a strong fruity aroma and flavour, revealing strong hints of bitterness and spiciness.
