Langhe DOC white wines
The Langhe are a territory of Piemonte which are located near the town of Asti. Located in the northwest of Italy, Piemonte is renowned for being one of the most beautiful wine-growing areas in the world and is home to more DOCG wines than any other Italian region. Piemonte’s wine culture is characterized by numerous family vineyards that emphasize the high quality of the production and the distinct character of each wine. Langhe DOC is an appellation that offers a wide variety of wines which can be explained by the great diversity of vines and grape varieties in the region.
Langhe DOC white wines come from the Arneis, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Favorita grape varieties.
We particularly recommend the Langhes Chardonnay DOC to pair with your winter cheese-based dishes, such as fondus or raclettes. These dry white wines are generally characterized by a straw yellow color and fruity flavors. Langhe Chardonnay is generally tasted at a temperature of 8 – 10 ° C and can be kept for about 2 or 3 years.
