Zuppa di lentichie abruzzese


  • 500 g lentils
  • 200 g smoked bacon
  • 1 onion
  • Celery
  • Carrot
  • Nut oil
  • Pepper


Soak the lentils at least 12 hours before.

Fry with onion, celery and carrot, and add the diced smoked bacon. Then add the lentils, the water, 3 parts of water for one part lentils.

Boil under pressure for 5 minutes. If you use dried lentils, add 4-5 parts of water and 15 minutes of cooking.

Season with oil and pepper.
