The Zago family has always lived along the Piave river, devoting themselves to agricultural activity. But it was only in 1973 that Luigino decided to dedicate the property exclusively to the cultivation of the vine.
The story of the Zago family merges with the story of the family farm. The Zagos have always lived along the river Piave working as farmers. Eventually, at the end of the 1970s, Luigino Zago decided to cultivate and produce wine on the whole family estate. Over the years, the winery consolidated and established its reputation in Italian and foreign markets.
Because of the size of the farm, it is possible to follow each step of the wine production chain, starting from the grape-harvesting which is made by hand on the family’s land; this gives the consumer a guarantee of origin and traceability of their products.
Nowadays, Luigino and his children carry out the project together. Federico is the oenologist of the farm; he attends to the wine production from the vineyard to the bottle, and Luigino’s daughter Chiara is responsible for communication and marketing strategies.

Tasting a wine is much more than raising a glass to your lips: it’s a journey through time, tradition and the land. That’s why the family is so happy to meet visitors who want to hear their “wine stories”. Knowing everything about what you taste means improving your emotional experience.
Among this winery’s flagship products are the various variations of Prosecco wine. Discover them in the Spumante Brut, Extra Dry or Frizzante versions. These wines evoke delicate aromas of pear, apple, white flowers and mountain honey, all characterized by a marked freshness.
