From the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal to Toronto’s Rosé Picnic, Prosecco DOC brought two of Canada’s most anticipated events to life, blending music, lifestyle and unmistakable Italian conviviality.
This summer, the Consorzio di Tutela del Prosecco DOC once again demonstrated its commitment to music and culture by partnering with two flagship events on the Canadian calendar. It was a way for the denomination to embody not only the excellence of Italian winemaking, but also the values of conviviality and authenticity that define it — all while connecting with thousands of Canadian consumers.
From June 25 to July 4, 2026, Prosecco DOC served as Supplier Partner and the official sparkling wine of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, the world’s largest jazz festival, which welcomes more than 2 million attendees each year. With more than 350 concerts and close to 3,000 artists from over 30 countries — including Diana Krall, St. Vincent and Kamasi Washington — the event provided the denomination with an exceptional international showcase.
Festival-goers were able to enjoy Prosecco DOC at all 16 festival bars, in the VIP Terrace Suites and at the SAQ Bistro, offering plenty of opportunities to discover Italy’s iconic sparkling wine in some of the festival’s most exclusive venues.

The Prosecco DOC activation area, inspired by the elegance and convivial spirit of La Dolce Vita, quickly became a lively destination throughout the festival: interactive quizzes, mixology demonstrations and spectacular sabrage performances led by Prosecco DOC Canada’s Brand Ambassadors, Fanny Gauthier and Guénaël Revel, alongside wine expert Karine Duplessis Piché.

On July 11, 2026, Prosecco DOC took part as Rose Gold Sponsor of Rosé Picnic, one of Canada’s premier celebrations of wine, gastronomy, fashion and music, held at Toronto’s Canadian Film Centre. Now in its eighth edition, the festival welcomed approximately 3,500 guests while raising funds in support of Breast Cancer Canada.
Throughout the day, more than 600 bottles of Prosecco DOC were served, starting with a complimentary welcome toast offered to every guest upon arrival — a first taste inviting festival-goers to discover the denomination’s unmistakable freshness, elegance and Italian heritage.
The festival’s vibrant atmosphere was amplified by performances from acclaimed DJs, including 4KORNERS, the official DJ of the Toronto Raptors, alongside DJ Lissa Monet and other renowned artists, creating the perfect soundtrack for a celebration of Italian conviviality.
Beyond the consumer activation, Prosecco DOC also reinforced its commitment to wine education through its presence on the Wine & Mixology Stage. Educational tastings were led by acclaimed Toronto sommelier Heather McDougall, founder of Sips Toronto and former Technical Director of the Ontario chapter of the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers (CAPS). Welcoming 76 participants, the sessions explored the distinctive qualities, production methods and remarkable versatility that have made Prosecco DOC one of the world’s most celebrated sparkling wines.

“Canada has become one of the most important international markets for Prosecco DOC, and we are proud to celebrate that relationship through events that bring people together. Whether through music, gastronomy or wine education, these partnerships allow us to share not only the excellence of our denomination, but also the values of conviviality, authenticity and Italian lifestyle that have always distinguished Prosecco DOC.” — Giancarlo Guidolin, President of the Consorzio di Tutela del Prosecco DOC”
The Consorzio di Tutela del Prosecco DOC has long been active in promoting sustainability, social responsibility, legal protection of the denomination, and the global recognition of the Prosecco DOC brand. Through partnerships in sport, culture and international events such as these, the Consortium continues to strengthen the reputation of Prosecco DOC on the world stage.
