In 1954, Vincenzo Zaurrini and his brother Angelo accomplished their dream of opening the first grocery store in Montreal dedicated to Italian flavours and products. Throughout the years, Vincenzo never ceased to innovate by introducing new, high quality products, thus allowing Milano to become an essential supermarket with more than 70 employees and an incredible variety of food specialties imported from Italy.

Located in the heart of Little Italy, Milano is more than a grocery store, it is above all a family business that has preserved the traditional values and culture. For several generations of customers, Milano is the symbol of Italian agri-food excellence, and a favorite meeting place, making it an integral part of their weekly habits, and where they feel at home.

Since 2011, Vincenzo’s children, Celia and Mario, have taken over and adapted their father’s vision: to offer the best authentic Italian products, to be at the forefront of what is being done to offer their customers innovative Made in Italy, high quality products, and to give their customers a unique experience, plunging them into the flavors and tastes of Italy.
