Fantinel

With vineyards spread around the country, Fantinel has utilized this geographical diversity to craft local varieties, relying on the land and tradition to help ensure a guarantee of quality seldom seen with larger vineyards.

Created out of a desire to offer a greater quality of wine focused products, restauranteur Mario Fantinel opened his first vineyard in 1969. His extensive passion and knowledge for viniculture helped in turn create one of Italy’s most globally recognizable brands, and one of its largest with over 300 hectares of vineyards spread over Italy. With their flagship estate, Fantinel, situated in Tauriano di Spilimbergo, the family have managed to produce a diverse portfolio of wine brands encapsulating everything from their Fantinel Prosecco Brut to their Cabernet Franc, sold through their boutique Roncaia brand.

The family’s history as restaurateurs has similarly helped ensure a successful approach to marketing the brand, helping it spread beyond its Italian roots, and showcasing the joys of Prosecco to the rest of the world.

With an vast global presence, Fantinel vineyards have managed to extend their brand to over 90 countries. Focusing on high quality, specialty shops selling only the best of Italian viniculture, the Fantinel family has managed to become an important player in the international wine scene and a key factor in helping Italian wine producers gain a foothold in less established global markets. The family has been instrumental in showcasing the virtues of Prosecco, continuously sharing their love for Italian Spumante.

For over four decades, passion has been the driving force of Fantinel, a group of technicians and professionals who work every day with diligence and enthusiasm to create a range of wines able to offer strong emotions that are imprinted in the memory.
