Here’s how to incorporate Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP into 3 of North America’s most popular cocktails: Bloody Mary, Negroni, and Martini:
This variation replaces the Worcestershire sauce with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP. You can replace traditional Vodka with Gin for the aromatic flavors of plants. The result is a convincing blend of citrus and herbal notes, a full, savory, round, and spicy taste.
- Tomato juice 9 cl
- Tabasco 4/5 drops
- Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP 3/4 drops
- Lemon juice 1,5 cl
- Gin 4.5 cl
- Salt 1 pinch
- Pepper 1 pinch
- 1 celery stalk
Cool the mixing glass well with the ice and discard it.
Add the lemon juice, pepper, salt, Tabasco, and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP.
After mixing well, add the Gin and the tomato juice. Mix well and add ice again.
Then with the throwing technique (passing the liquid several times through the ice) oxygenate the cocktail well.
Pour into the glass and add a celery stalk for decoration. Cheers!
The Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP enters decisively in this Negroni, managing to give acidity and roundness, attenuating the typical bitter taste of the cocktail.
- Campari Bitter 2 cl
- Red Vermouth 2 cl
- Gin 2 cl
- Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP 1 tsp
Method: stir and strain – build over ice
To prepare the Negroni cocktail, start by pouring ice into a low tumbler and fill the glass up 3/4 full.
Add the gin, the red vermouth, and the Campari and pour.
Finally, add the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
Stir and garnish with half a slice of orange.
Your Negroni cocktail is ready! Cheers!
This cocktail is harmoniously balanced: the aroma is enriched with spicy and earthy notes, the flavor remains classic, clear, authentic, and dry. The Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP gives an unexpected depth.
- Gin 6 cl
- Vermouth Dry 1 cl
- Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena 2 sprays
- Sweet and sour onion
Cool the mixing glass with ice.
After draining the excess water, flavor the ice with balsamic vinegar using a vaporizer.
After mixing, remove the excess water again. Then add the Vermouth.
Now take a very cold martini glass, wet the glass with the liquid obtained, and discard it. In this way, only the aromatic part will remain, without the purity of the Gin being distorted. The Gin will be added to the cup with the Double Strain or Double Filtering method. Finally, the sweet and sour onion.
It’s ready. Cheers!
