Acetaia Bellei


Acetaia Bellei’s history dates back to the 1600s, when the Bellei family was responsible for the management and cultivation of vast agricultural lands. The Belleis then developed a love and passion for the production of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI. Since the late nineteenth century the Bellei family has been producing Balsamic Vinegar for personal consumption, but in the 1990s, they have increased production in order to share their delicious Balsamic Vinegar with the world.

The balsamic vinegar of Modena has been awarded PGI status (Protected Geographical Indication) its production requires the use of grapes from seven typical varieties of Emilia Romagna; Lambrusco, Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Albana, Fortana and Montuni.

Despite of its strong business expansion, the company still maintains its family-like business character. The family has become experts in the production process and can ensure a consistent taste. Due to their specific process and commitment to authenticity, the Bellei Balsamic Vinegar PGI of Modena is known worldwide for its excellent quality.
